• The I.T project manager will be overall accountability for meeting project objectives (i.e cost and time goals while controlling or maintaining the project scope and quality). Develop project plans including business requirements gathering, technical solution design, testing and implementation methodology with migration planning and success criteria. Implements project requirements through internally developed software solutions and/or purchased solutions to meet user requirements. Provides work direction and leadership to project or resource teams.
• Jobs & Responsibilities
• Develop proposals and plan base on scope, cost estimates, resource requirements and ROI
• Manage project budget with schedule expenditures
• Work with business owners to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology trade offs influence strategy
• Identify and manage risks and issues and adoption of risk mitigation strategies
• Develops project communication plans and provide status update to different levels of the organization
• Participates in cross program project reviews and planning.
• Provide overall direction and guidance to assigned project team members
• Produces standard project management documentation
• Ensure business processes meet SOX criteria
• Utilizes Project Management tools and methodologies to ensure quality solution delivery
• Develop IT team members project management skills within the organization
• Qualification
• • B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, computer science or related area
• • PMP certification is plus
• Experience:
• • Proven experience managing medium-to-large scale IT projects involving SAP implementations.
• • Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• • Able to manage effectively both internal and external resources for all planning and implementation efforts.
• • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritization are required
