Quantity Surveyor- Civil - Dubai

Job Description


  • managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures, such as residential developments, sports stadiums, roads and bridges, schools, hospitals, offices and factories;
  • undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
  • assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
  • performing risk and value management and cost control;
  • advising on procurement strategy;
  • preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities;
  • identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
  • preparing and analysing costings for tenders;
  • allocating work to subcontractors;
  • providing advice on contractual claims;
  • analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
  • valuing completed work and arranging payments;
  • maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
  • understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
Experience: 8 - 15 years
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Key Skills: practical and logical qualities and a methodical way of thinking;

Architect (Interior and Fit Out) - Dubai

• Emphasize on design and engineering coordination, approvals, liaising with the contractor for handing over requirements, oversee the construction supervision, snag lists and final commissioning procedures.

• Will have a thorough understanding of sequencing and the building process as opposed to project planning and have knowledge of the relationship of mechanical and electrical coordination and access in relation to the completed spaces.

• Have an ability to maintain relationships and control all on-site fit out activities and have a knowledge of high end apartment fit out in the middle East, high end hotel fit out in the middle East including conference, lobby spaces etc.

• Will have knowledge of other projects to benchmark the project against in regard to quality. • He/she will have a fast clear decision making ability within the existing project procedures, control and closure of snag list items and commissioning procedures and ability to work with contractor’s programme which will vary dependant on deliveries.

• BSc in Architecture/Interior Design and minimum12-14 years of experience in a similar role are essential.

• High rise buildings experience minimum G+30+floors is a must for this role.

Client Operation Manager - Abu Dhabi

Position Description

We provide a range of services designed to optimise the costs involved in managing the life cycle of major commercial and industrial buildings in the region.

As the Client Operation Manager, the primary function of this position will be to manage the contract between the company and client to ensure a satisfactory level of service is maintained. This will apply to single or multiple sites and one or more clients and will include but not be limited to the following:

* Manage and deliver the agreed service within budget
* First line contact with client representatives
* Leadership and management of staff and resources (subcontractors etc)
* Cost analysis, budget forecasts and preparation of reports
* Participate in devleopment of strategy with senior management team
* Exceed customer expectations in accordance with agreed service levels

Position Requirements

Ideally, you will be hold a degree in engineering or similar teamed with management experience within a Facilities and/or Operations environment. Exposure to an outsourced service provider model would also be an advantage.

Astute when managing budgets, you are also competent at analysing data and producing technical reports. An effective communicator and customer oriented individual, your ability to lead people and deliver on results will be essential to this role.
