International Cruise Services is looking suitable candidates for the following posts on a luxury cruise ship.
Cruise Ship Food & Beverage Manager:
Responsible for the management and supervision of the restaurants, bar, galley and related areas. Responsibilities include food costing budgeting, training, maintaining a high standard of food quality, service, safe handling of food supplies etc. Must have three/five years’ food and beverage experience in a hotel or restaurant, or prior ship experience in related position. Culinary background and education preferable.
Salary: $4,400 – $5,600 US per month (approx £2,200 - £2,800 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line
Cruise Ship Restaurant Manager:
Responsible for the day to day operations and supervision of the restaurants including training maintaining a high standard of food quality and service, cleanliness of the restaurant. Reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager. Must have a minimum of two to three years food and beverage experience with a hotel or restaurant or prior ship experience in related position.
Salary: $3,000 – $5,200 US per month (approx £1,500 - £2,600 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line
Cruise Ship Maitre D’:
Takes care of seating arrangements and service. Responsible for waiters/waitresses, wine stewards. and busboys. Candidates should be an experienced professional, possibly speaking two or more languages with a keen eye to oversee everything that goes on in a busy dining room.
Salary: $3,400 - $5,300 US (approx £1,700 – £2,650 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line
Cruise Ship Dining Room Waiter:
Serving passengers, explaining the menu, making recommendations, supervises assistant waiters assigned to their tables. Must have lots of experience and fluent English language skills required.
Salary: $2,400 - $3,200 US per month (approx £1,200 - £1,600 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line
Cruise Ship Dining Room Assistant Waiter/Waitress:
Assisting dining room waiters in the food and beverage service, service passengers as directed by the waiter. Experience required.
Salary : $1,700 - $2,200 US per month, (approx £850 - £1,100 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line.
Cruise Ship Buffet Steward/Stewardess:
Serving meals and beverage, cleans tables. No experience required although some experience is preferable. Strong possibilities for promotion to Bar Steward, Junior Waiter, Assistant Waiter and Waiter.
Salary: $1,200 – $1,600 US per month, (approx £600 - £800 per month) depending on gratuities and cruise line.
