This rapidly expanding specialist Islamic finance firm is looking to recruit an Islamic finance structurer for their new Middle Eastern team in Dubai/Bahrain/UAE.

Responsibilities include:

Finding innovative solutions to make products Sharia compliant
Redrafting underpinning documents to produce shorts / longs with the same economics of the original product but that is now Sharia compliant.
Working with scholars and discussing how to best go about writing the underpinning documents of the altered products.
Coming up with new concepts to debate/discuss, drafting documentation and the subsequent implementation of Sharia compliant products.
Skills Required:

· Knowledge of the regulatory/legal aspects of structuring

· A conceptional thinker with an in-depth knowledge of the market

· An existing client base/contacts

· Experience of instigating innovative solutions in order to make products Sharia compliant and subsequently redrafted underpinning documents

· Legal background is a bonus (must be familiar with Sharia law)

· Arabic and other middle eastern languages are a bonus

· Accountancy or project management background also considered
