Emirates is looking for Ticketing / Sales agents for their ticketing counters all over Dubai. The successful candidates will be required to work on a shift basis depending on which travel shop they are allocated to. This is an entry level position and the job holder will be required to contribute to the servicing and generation of revenue targets at the point of sale by providing efficient and friendly customer service to convert enquiries into "Ticketed sales".
Experience and Qualifications:
* Graduate OR 12 years education with a minimum of 3 years sales and ticketing experience in an airline or recognised travel agency.
* Knowledge of advanced fares & ticketing, Reservation Systems (such as Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, Mars etc,) and issuing PTAs. An IATA diploma would be an advantage.
* Must have a good interpersonal ability, telephone skills and customer service skills.
* Strong verbal and written English is a must and knowledge of any other languages will be preferable.
* Excellent PC skills.
