JOB SUMMARY:



The Software Engineer III - Web position is responsible for software development and custom application for all in-house web applications. It involves interacting with several business units to establish requirements, design, develop, test and deploy novel web based applications.



EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:



* Work with business units to develop our e-commerce web strategy.
* Design, develop and maintain corporate web sites.
* Work independently or on a project team to develop new web based applications.
* Configure and support various ad hoc reporting tools.
* Monitor web site usage and generate system metrics.
* Develop high quality, scalable software solutions that meet FCH business requirements.
* Adhere to and assist in defining software development standards.
* Ensure timely software delivery based on defined project schedules.
* Actively participate in collaboration with colleagues and business units during development life cycle.
* Maintain skill level through ongoing training.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Minimum four years work experience developing web applications in a relational database environment.
* Experience with .NET technologies, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET.
* Experience with web UI design and tools such as Visual Interdev, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Photoshop.
* Strong understanding of current web technologies, web development life cycle, and object oriented programming practices.
* Experience with MS Visual Studio or Visual Studio.NET IDEs.
* Strong SQL skills.
* Experience with interfacing with relational databases, preferably Oracle.
