Finance Manager - Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, analyze, and develop financial strategies for the company.
- Supervises and manages all aspects of the accounts department.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
• Significant knowledge and experience in primary and secondary substation conceptual & detailed design ranging from 11kV to 400kV.
• Proven ability associated with, primary plant selection, typically, circuit breakers, disconnectors, double and single bus-bar configuration, knowledge of breaker and a half schemes would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to compile single line and circuit diagrams coupled with a strong understanding of numeric protection, protection applications and relay setting/coordination.
• Capability to review design documents, provide technical guidance and support where required, assisting and contributing to relevant stakeholders, consultants, project managers, clients and EPIC contractors.
• Minimum 7 years post graduate experience working on similar sub-station design projects.

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Membership of an internationally recognized professional Association is preferred.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy or electrical asset owner environment would be beneficial, prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.

Hotel Receptionist - Qatar

Receptionist (Female)-Intercontinental Hotel Doha
As a Receptionist you will:
1. Check all arrivals and ensure that all room bookings are made in accordance to guest`s preferences.
2. Prepare registration forms, booklets and all corresponding inserts.
3. Check and ensure that all blocked rooms are vacant, clean and with full amenities prior to guest`s arrival.
4. Welcome and register guests at the counter and escort him/her to the room if the Guest Relations Officers are unavailable.
5. Explain the different facilities of the hotel and the room itself.
6. Offer further assistance like wake up calls, bags down and transportation requirements.
7. Attend to guest`s queries, requests and complaints and see to it that these are addressed immediately.
8. Update registration cards and see to it that all information given by the guests is accurate, complete and ensure that all important information and preferences are noted.
9. Upsell to guests depending on their preferences and requirements
10. Ensure that all charges are accurate prior to presentation of bill to the guest on check-out.
11. Ensure all pertinent discounts, inclusions and other charges are properly applied.
12. Offer bags down and transportation services and remind guest if safety deposit box was used and/or emptied.
13. Check and reconfirm mode of settlement.
14. Close guest`s charges and check-out room from the system.
15. Bid the guest a fond farewell and offer future booking.
16. Ensure cash float/house bank is well accounted for.
17. Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
18. Note down guest`s concerns and requests and ensure that they are acted upon responsibly.
19. Ensure that he or she is updated or well informed of all daily functions.
20. Print trace report and take action accordingly.
21. Print arrival and departure list by flight time for the following day and ensure that all rates with inclusions are discounted and all the necessary adjustments have been made.
22. Accomplish requisition for complimentary amenities such as wine, chocolate, birthday cakes, etc.
23. Handle reservation matters when said section is closed.
24. Upsell reservations when incoming reservations are directed to Front Desk.
25. Print departure report for the next day and do courtesy call and offers wake up call, bags down and transportation. Senior Project Manager -Dredging & Reclaimation - Qatar

Job Summary:
Direct responsibility for leading the delivery of all dredging and reclamation works. Responsible for managing and coordinating inputs from, and outputs to, project support functions (e.g. technical, procurement, program reporting, program control functions) and for managing major Contractor interfaces. Reports directly to the Program Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the dredging and reclamation works (approx $2Bn) on the New Port Project. Build, manage and develop a core dredging and reclamation works PM team. Be an active member of the project leadership team that will coordinate overall project delivery strategy and implementation. Set, manage and control delivery of all dredging and reclamation objectives – including scope, quality, budgets, schedules, stakeholder interfaces, communication/reporting, environmental, EH&S. Establish and maintain effective communication with the Program Manager and key internal support function managers (technical, commercial, procurement, communications, HR etc.). Participate in the management of external interfaces with key stakeholders including the Client, the Design and Environmental Consultants, future port operators, major Suppliers, Contractors, key Qatar Government agencies, etc. Build team competence by conducting regular review sessions, identifying training needs and providing day to day guidance. Continuously look for better ways to deliver the project and meet contractual and commercial objectives. Build bridges within the company family. Utilise knowledge, persuasion and negotiations kills to resolve critical issues. Work closely with an integration team to deliver a world class project to enhance regional and global reputation. Use extensive dredging and reclamation experience to pro-actively predict and prevent problems before they arise.

Qualifications:
Formal degree in engineering or related professional field.
