Responsibilities:
• Manage the commission manager, in taking responsibility by ensuring that service delivery on commissions are in line with the conditions of appointment.
• Commission manager taking responsibility for end to end delivery of complex commissions.
• Good relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional team
• Supporting the business in relation to cost management function and development of service.
• Identifying opportunities to develop new business.
Job Activities/Duties:
• All aspects of cost management, from feasibility to final account on projects.
• This role is part of a team providing cost management services.
Relationships & Contacts:
• Clients will be blue chip mining houses and Engineering firms.
• To ensure that the client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added cost management service.
• Internal management of staff, knowledge, commission finance and processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
• Ideally appropriate qualifications in quantity surveying/cost management.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also under own initiative.
• Experience of managing a team.
