Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and implement software tools for testing mobile phones in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for writing the software for the testing tool, documenting the correct testing procedure, and implementing the software at the manufactures site. There is an emphasis on cost and repeatability. In addition, you will work closely with hardware and software development teams to integrate testing requirements into the product development cycle.

Other responsibilities include:
• Documentation and review of rack configuration and wiring diagrams
• Factory test troubleshooting support
• Manufacturing test and yield support for legacy products

To qualify for this role you must have:
• Minimum of 8 years test software experience on RF products, RF equipment of RF circuitry
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing test schemes and processes for high volume production.
• Able to work with diverse personnel with a wide range of technical and cultural backgrounds
• Proficient in the following software languages: C++, NI Lab view 6.1.
• Available for domestic and international travel - 15%
• Experience designing test software for mobile phones is preferable
