Advertising Account Manager - Oman

Purpose:
The advertising industry is a new discipline for our client base. The Account Manager will be required to lead from the front, guiding and directing the clients with all their advertising needs and ensuring that they remain within the clients’ budgets and timelines. The ideal job holder will be passionate about advertising, be comfortable with all advertising and marketing terminology and will understand client brand and its competitive set.

Principle Responsibilities:
• Daily liaison with clients for nominated accounts
• Daily liaison with the Account Director and team giving updates with regard to work in progress
• Develop simple Creative/Project Briefs with the AD/AM in order to facilitate a project
• Understanding and articulating brands to the client so that they appreciate the scope of benefits that the product offered will bring
• Working closely with Traffic Management to ensure all information pertaining to the jobs is accurate and up to date
• Liaison with Production Department directly on all production requirements
• Brief Media department, in association with or on any media plans required and confirm requirements in writing
• Liaise with the Creative Department, where necessary, on any additional information required
• Develop detailed estimates of all work prior to commencement with the Finance and Production departments in order to ensure an accurate & appropriate cost, & seek client approval/signature
• Liaise with Finance to ensure prompt billing of clients at the completion of any project
• Produce weekly status reports for all client activity (in association with Account Management) to be circulated to key client contacts
• Keep written contact reports for all actionable conversations with clients and circulate these within 24 hours
• Proactively research competitor brands and marketing activity in the local press and produce a monthly competitor analysis for clients
• Where and when required making decisions on behalf of their client

Qualifications and experience:
A Bachelors degree holder
3 years proven previous experience in a similar role
B2B experience is an advantage

• Delighted clients who remain loyal to the agency and sign sole supplier extensive contract agreements
• Excellent internal relationships with the Creative Team
